Born and raised in St. Gallen, in the eastern part of Switzerland, in 1994 — into a family of refugees with roots in Kosovë, who had to flee because of the war.
Growing up between two worlds meant learning early that nothing is given. School in Switzerland, family stories from Perlepnica and Gjilan at home, and the quiet awareness that safety is something a generation before you had to fight for.
This chapter also holds harder things — health struggles in childhood that were life-threatening, and the experience of racism while growing up. Both shaped the character everything since is built on. The full story lives in Why I Build.
